Car sales in China double break of 23 million over six years since the first World 1
China Association of Automobile Manufacturers data released on the 12th, 2014 automobile production in China and sales both exceeded 23 million, the sixth consecutive year, the first in the world.
Statistics show that in 2014 the production and sales of 23,722,900 and 23,491,900, an increase of 7.26% and 6.86% China car, passenger car sales which 19,919,800 and 19,700,600 , an increase of 10.15% and 9.89%, sales of commercial vehicles 380 310 000 and 3,791,300, down 5.69% and 6.53%.

Statistics show that in 2014 78 500 new production and sales of 74,800, an increase of 3.5 times and 3.2 times, respectively, over the previous year automotive power; in which pure electric car sales grew by 2.4 times and 2.1 times, respectively, over the previous year; plug-in hybrid vehicle sales increased 8.1 times and 8.8 times, respectively, over the previous year.
"Automobile industry as a whole showed steady growth, but growth in sales fell 7.5 and 7 percent, respectively, over the previous year." Said the China Association of Automobile Industry Executive Vice President Dong Yang. The data show that in 2013 the production and sales of automobiles in China increased by 15.8% and 13.9%, respectively.
China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the National Bureau of Statistics jointly tracking and monitoring center boom in the confidence index in the automotive sector show that the fourth quarter of 2014, the rate of climate in the automotive industry was 100.1, decreased slightly by 0.2 points from the previous quarter, indicating the health of the auto industry is clearer, but overall Mira, the automotive industry has shown a trend of slowing growth.
Notably, the market share of independent brand cars decreased significantly. The data show that in 2014 its own brand cars were sold 7.5733 million, an increase of 4.1%, accounting for 38.44% of total passenger vehicle sales, market share dropped 2.14 percentage points compared the same period last year, car sales private label 2774400 units, up 17.4%, accounting for 22.42% of total car sales, market share 5.55 percentage points over the same period decreased last year.
